The Team Behind Our Recommendations
We are Muzzle Alliance, a community nonprofit dedicated to pet welfare in Miami since 2012. Our team spends its time connecting families with the resources they need to keep their pets healthy and safe. When people in our community ask us to recommend someone they can trust with their animals, we share the names of businesses that have proven themselves reliable. Recommendations matter only if the person making them knows what they are talking about and stands by their word.
We recommend the ones we have worked with and trust.
Questions You Might Have
Why does Muzzle Alliance recommend pet care businesses at all?
Our community members ask us directly. A family needs a pet sitter while they are away. A pet owner finds themselves in a new neighborhood and needs someone who can handle their dog’s anxiety during storms. These are real questions from people we know, and we answer them the way we answer all our other questions — by pointing them toward the best person for the job.How do you decide who to recommend?
We look for businesses that are bonded and insured, that stand behind their work, and that treat the families they serve with genuine care. We do not accept payment from anyone we recommend, and we do not claim to grade all the providers in Miami — we recommend the ones we have worked with and trust. What if something goes wrong with someone you recommended?
We stand behind our recommendations, which is exactly why we are careful about who we make them. If a family has a problem with a provider we sent them to, we want to hear about it. Our community’s trust is the only thing we have. What Bonded and Insured Really Means
Bonding is a financial guarantee. If a pet sitter damages your home or steals from you, a bonded provider carries insurance that pays for it. Insured means the business carries liability coverage if your pet is injured while in their care. Together, these protections mean the business is serious enough to invest in the right setup. They are not a guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong, but they are proof that the provider is willing to be accountable if it does. We recommend only businesses that carry both.

What to Do Next
If you are looking for pet care in Miami, start by reading our other pages on the specific kind of service you need. We have pages about pet sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, and day care. Each one explains what to look for and what questions to ask. Then, if you want to know more about the providers we recommend, reach out to us. We are here to answer questions and help you find the right fit for your pet.
We also keep notes on pet health and welfare that you might find useful. Our health notes page covers topics like emergency care, vaccination requirements, and how to prepare your pet for travel. All of it comes from our experience running community programs and from talking with families in Miami about what they need to know.
